What is the difference between Azure and AWS?

Azure and AWS are cloud computing solutions that provide security to your data. Before pointing out the differences between Azure and AWS, let's take a quick scan over what both these terms mean.

Azure is a flexible cloud platform, helping in data storage, service management, service hosting, and development. With the help of Microsoft data centers, the Azure cloud tool hosts web applications over the internet.

Amazon Web Services or AWS is a commonly used cloud platform, working in content delivery, computing power, database storage & other business beneficial services.

Here are some points of distinction between the two:

● Azure has 11% shares in the worldwide market, while AWS has a 31% share in the Global Computing Market.

● Azure has 140 available zones compared to AWS, which has 61 of the same.

● Azure and AWS both support hybrid cloud but, Azure does the job better than AWS.

● Azure offers express routes, while AWS provides a direct connection.

● Azure has a virtual network cloud space, whereas AWS has Virtual Private cloud space.

● Azure offers permission on the whole account while providing privacy and security but, AWS security is assigned using delegated roles with permission control systems.

● Azure has a pricing system of per-minute service, which makes it more exact than AWS charges for per-hour services.

In conclusion, Azure is a good option for Hybrid Cloud services, but AWS provides more flexible options. Choosing between Azure or AWS depends on your team and what your business prioritizes more.
